THE CHARACTER OF A VALLEY

Brookdale Wine Estate

A creative partnership shaping the visual identity and ongoing story of a contemporary wine estate through photography, videography and editorial storytelling.

Partnership

A creative collaboration built on trust, consistency and a shared vision.

Brand Story

Photography, film and editorial content working together to shape a distinctive and authentic identity.

Hospitality

Capturing the atmosphere, craftsmanship and generosity that define the Brookdale experience.

Some places are remembered long after they are left behind.

Set beneath the Klein Drakenstein Mountains in the Paarl Winelands, Brookdale Wine Estate is defined by thoughtful hospitality, contemporary design and a deep connection to its landscape. My work with the estate has centred on building a consistent visual and editorial language that reflects these qualities across every guest touchpoint.

Through photography, videography and ongoing digital storytelling, I have documented the evolving identity of Brookdale, from its architecture and interiors to its vineyards, restaurant and surrounding landscape. Alongside this visual work, I develop the estate's social media content, creating seasonal campaigns, editorial narratives and digital stories that strengthen the brand while remaining authentic to the experience of the estate.

Together, these projects present more than a destination. They communicate a philosophy of hospitality where every image, every story and every interaction contributes to a cohesive and memorable brand.

About This Project

Where is Brookdale Wine Estate located?

Beneath the Klein Drakenstein Mountains in the Paarl Winelands.

What does your work with Brookdale involve?

Photography, videography and ongoing digital storytelling, including seasonal social media content, across the estate's architecture, vineyards, restaurant and landscape.

Do you photograph food and hospitality alongside landscape work?

Yes, a hospitality brand's story usually includes all of it, the land, the building, the people and what ends up on the table.

Can you manage ongoing social content, not just a single shoot?

Yes, several of my long-term partnerships include ongoing seasonal and digital content, not just a one-off commission.

How do I start a project like this?

Get in touch and tell me about the estate / project, the scope and roughly when.
