My approach to hospitality photography extends beyond documenting dishes. It is about understanding the character of a space, the rhythm of a kitchen, the atmosphere created by thoughtful design and the people whose passion shapes every guest experience. Through an editorial approach, each commission seeks to reveal the personality of a restaurant and the sense of place that makes it distinctive.

A historic harbour town where the Cape south coast's beaches, tidal pools and fynbos hills meet the Indian Ocean; the gateway to the Southern Cape's rewilded reserves.

Key facts

The Poort tidal pools at the Point are a year-round wild-swimming spot, met by a community of swimmers at first light.
The surrounding hills fall within the Cape Floristic Region, the smallest and richest of the world's six floral kingdoms.
Nearby Pinnacle Point's caves hold some of the earliest evidence of modern human coastal living, more than 160,000 years old.
